Built Strength grew out of CTX Home Gyms, a business founded by Dillon Ivey and Alejandra Donoso in 2020. What started as a mission to bring affordable home gym equipment to everyday people became something bigger: a commercial-grade equipment line built for serious lifters.

Newlyweds and passionate fitness enthusiasts, Dillon Ivey and Alejandra Donoso left their careers in corporate America in 2020 to build something real. During the nationwide quarantine, they saw firsthand how hard it was to find affordable, high-quality home gym equipment. So they built the company they wished existed.
They launched CTX Home Gyms to help people take ownership of their fitness, no monthly fees, no contracts, no excuses. As the business grew, so did the demand for equipment they could fully stand behind. That's how Built Strength was born.

In response, the young entrepreneurs leveraged their complementary skills to launch CTX Home Gyms, a business dedicated to helping others build a fitness routine at home. No monthly fees, no contracts. Just equipment that works.

As CTX grew, so did demand. The business expanded beyond what could be sourced on the used equipment side, and the team needed a line they could stand behind completely. Built Strength was the answer: a proprietary commercial-spec line engineered from the ground up by people who actually use this equipment.

The showroom in Georgetown, TX has the full line on the floor. Real installs across Texas, from private performance facilities to commercial gyms. Every customer gets the same thing: equipment that's built to last and a team that stands behind it.

Every BUILT machine is engineered to the same spec as the equipment you find in high-volume commercial facilities. 11-gauge steel, sealed bearings, and weight stacks rated for 8+ hours of daily use. There is no consumer line.
